--1) New changes in SHinyhunting + Useful Abilities and Items

Pokemon are easier to catch, because each ball shakes only 3 times instead of 4.
This is really helpful for Legendaries, because lower % of capture (fastens the capture, and highly decreases the chances of making really long captures (who can use all the Pokemon's PPs)).
There are also bonuses/maluses that are linked to the Pokedex completion, and if you're in double Grass, but they aren't really important since Metang / Metagross are the only ones really concerned by these changes (the other grass Pokemon are way easier to catch than legendaries).

The forced switching moves like Roar, Whirlwind, Dragon Tail will only end the battle if your Pokemon has a level equal or below the wild Pokemon, and will force switching in double battles.

So if you're using Repel, prepare higher levelled Pokemon to counter these moves or a Ingrain / Suction Cups Pokemon.

Can be found, but no longer has any effect outside of battle.

--2) Swarms
In BW/BW2, Swarms are different from 4th Gen Swarms, but identical to 3rd gen Swarms.
Instead of modifying the two first encounter slots of the route (20% + 20%), the game chooses 40% of the time to make a Swarm Pokemon appear, and the rest of the time, normal Pokemon appear (60% of the time).
The swarming Pokemon have levels going from 15 to 55, which makes them easy to Repel in most routes.
For some routes that have Pokemon with Lv > Lv 55, it is sometimes possible to repel some of the basic Pokemon, (at a level like 54), and use the APEV method to preserve some of the Swarm Pokemon.

--3) Pass Powers
In Black/White, there are two types of Pass Power that has great interest for Shiny Hunting :
Encounter Pass Powers : Increase the likelihood to encounter a wild Pokemon (useful for Repel Trick, when the search is a little slow, like Cryogonal for example).

Hatching Pass Power : Eggs hatch faster.

And in Black 2/White 2, two new types of interesting Pass Powers were introduced :

Lucky(or Charm) Pass Power : Increase the chances of encountering rare Pokemon (changes the % of encountering wild Pokemon, making common Pokemon less common, and rare Pokemon more common)
Lucky Pass Power +++ also increases the chances to find a Shiny Pokemon (1/4.096 , or 1/2.048 if ShiningCharm is also used).

This level of Pass Power is not interesting for hunting 1/8.192 Shinies, so this one will be really useful at level ++.

For more data, Lucky Pass Power ++ changes the % of every encounter slot to these % reparts :
Wild encounters :
20-20-10-10-10-10-05-05-04-04-01-01 (Without)
05-05-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10 (With)

Surfings :
60-30-05-04-01
40-30-10-10-10

Fishes :
40-40-15-04-01
30-30-20-10-10

This kind of % is really interesting for Shaking Patches or Surfing/Fishing spots, because the rarest Pokemon (the three or four last slots) go up to 30% for Surfings, 40% for Fishes and Encounters (with also other Pokemon on other slots for encounters that aren't Audino).

All searches concerning Lucky Pass Power with (or without) Repel Trick are listed into the concerned file.
For the shaking Patches / surfing spots encounter slots, check
http://www.eggmove.com/encounterblack2.html

Search Power : The last useful Pass Power is the Search Pass Power, which increases the appearance rate of Shaking Patches / Surfing Spots. (for surfing spots, surfing makes them appear faster).
This Pass Power is useful when combinated with Lucky Pass Power.

To unlock Pass Powers easily in BW2, you will have to repeat the same Funfest Mission "Find Lost items" at Lv 3 with at least two game versions (one B2 and one W2).This mission has a duration of 3 minutes, and it is easy to collect 20 items on both games, by going from Driftveil City to Nimbasa City, then flying to Nacrene City or Vibrank City (at Vibrank, go left to Aspertia City).
Completing this mission with a double score bonus will grant you a Black / White Lv, depending on the game who started the Funfest Mission.

In order to unlock Search Power +++ and Lucky Power ++, you will need 21 Lv of Black and White.

--4) Roamers
To hunt roamers, you have to save before letting them go into the wild (going into the Route 7 house when heavy rain is on Route 7).
The latest moment to save is before leaving the house after discussing with the old lady. (but if you save this late, you won't be able to not liberate Thundurus/Tornadus onto Unova)
Then, you won't have to hunt for him in all Unova, but just to check your Pokedex, because Thundurus/Tornadus will be considered as "seen".
And if it is Shiny, you will see its Shiny form in the Pokedex.

Catching it will be like 4th gen roamers :
Use Mean Look / Block / Spider Web to trap the Pokemon
Use Baton Pass to switch to another Pokemon while preserving Mean Look's effect.
Weaken the Pokemon, and throw balls.

--5) Infinite Battle

As like as in other generations, we have to choose a team that will counter the recoil damages received by Struggle, in order to render the wild Pokemon unable to kill itself.

The 4th Gen technique still works, but a better one can be done.

A new sepecial ability was introduced, which is Harvest : The Pokemon has 50% chance at every turn to regain the Berry it used before.

Only one Pokemon can do this trick (which I named "Florobaie" when I discovered it ("Floro" for Flower and "Baie" for Berry, so a FlowoBerry (but it sounds better in French))) and here it is :

Exeggcutor @ Harvest + Leppa Berry
Skill Swap (Egg Move -> TM in 4th Gen / Move Tutor in BW 2)
Bestow (Lv 53 Exeggcute)
Hypnosis / Sleep Powder

Skill Swap gives Harvest to the enemy, and Bestow gives him Leppa Berry if he isn't already holding something (in that case, use another Pokemon with Trick).
So when the enemy runs out of PP for an attack, the Leppa Berry activates, and gives him back 10 PP (or 5 if the move only has 5 PP), and he has 50% chances to reobtain a Leppa Berry every turn, which prevents him from using all of its PPs.

The difference is that the enemy will keep attacking, so having Pokemon that will weaken him is a really good option (Low HP, Status, Accuracy / Attack Drops, Love).

With 5th gen, moves like Roar, Whirlwind won't work if your Pokemon has a higher level than the opponent, so this kind of attacks won't be a threat.
But for Pokemon that possess Selfdestruct, Teleport, or Recoil Damaging moves, other Pokemon are needed in combination with Exeggcutor in order to set the trick (or not) for a successful capture.
Teleport won't work if Taunt was used, which will give some break to switch to Exeggcutor and use Skill Swap, then doing it again to use Bestow.
You can also do it even against Selfdestruct by using a Damp Pokemon with Encore (Egg Move for Golduck / Quagsire / Politoed), and the move Healing Wave can deal with the damage recoiling moves.
Then, the move Final Gambit (that Basculin knows) is left, and in that case, the best is to use a Shedinja who won't be affected, even if Basculin used Soak (thanks to Mystik Guard).

For legendaries (like Kyurem) or Pokemon like Metagross, Exeggcutor will have to be high-levelled in order to sustain some hits, and be useful (Hypnosis is here to help it).

You can also use Heal Pulse (with Trick + Leftovers) to counter Struggle recoil damage, but you will also need more PP restoring items than usual because it only heals 50% of the target's max HP.
Chimecho / Ralts can also learn Hypnosis to help.

In other cases, Audino is easy to find, and Heal Pulse can counter recoil damages from other moves than Struggle.

To False Swipe some legendaries, Soak can be used, as it gives the Water type to the enemy, which removes any Normal type resistance, and also removes stab from certain moves (which is a good issue, because stab deals 50% more damages).
